Batman set
Day 23 Juneathon, decided to run the Nottingham Half Marathon route, only ended up doing about 9 miles due to some areas being closed as their filming the new Batman movie at Wollaton Park. Got a picture of the grave stones from the film, before getting told off L
All in all was a good run, Alex helped me increase my per mile pace which was the best bit. Just need to make sure I eat from the next run J

29minutes
Only had half an hour spare, and a run to complete to make sure I'm still going strong with the Juneathon. Treadmill was the only real option, the run consisted of varying speeds and degrees of incline. Overall I manged to do 6km which is 3.75miles in 29minutes.

Urban Gym
As it’s been another realllly long day and I knew I would not be able to get a decent run in I decided Day 21 of the Juneathon, I would took part within the urban gym class that I normally instructor on a Tuesday evening. The class consisted of roughly 6 stations along a route within the heart of Nottingham City Centre. There are short runs between the each of the stations and the whole circuit was about 3miles.

3% - 15kph – 20s - 10s rest
2% - 15kph – 20s - 10s rest
1% - 15kph – 20s - 10 rest
0% - 15kph – 20s
1minutes rest and then repeated 5 more times, with a jog at the end to make it 7miles.

day 13 of juneathon
Day 13 Juneathon, it was hard getting up early out of bed this morning. But managed to do so and complete 5.8miles, really slow pace.
Discovered some amazing local sites,yesterday (hence after a long run and exploring, it was hard to get up this morning) the adventure started about 20miles from where I live, never knew they were there. Rain was pounding hard but the sites in Matlock still breath taking.
Now for the rest of the day, and that weights session for my legs nice.

day11 &12
Day 11, juneathon only got to complete 2miles. Up the road and back.
Day 12, Juneathon slightly different story, set out to run in to town the route into town kept changing as I was aiming to try and do 10miles before I got there. It didn’t work, so ran the stairs and around the block up a really steep hill 3 times to make it 10.
Then ran another 3.8miles homes, stopping of along the way at a local shop to pick up a chocolate bar was so hungry. It did the trick.
Miles=13.8
Yorkie=1
sweat= not sure as it was raining hard

Persistence
“Persistence prevails, when all else fails” another long working day had two half hour breaks where I was able to get in a legs weight circuit and the second half hour a 5km run on the treadmill. The run at a constant speed and the incline I increase every 100meters up to 8% back to flat for 400meters before starting the process again. A great run in the end, and a great tune to keep me going.

short 2
"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but accepting different results each time".
After a 12 hour shift of mostly boredom. I set out to try and do a heavy weights session followed by a run. But kept getting distracted. The weight session was short lived, to be honest so was the run only completing 5km which is 3.1miles.
Not quite the result i was hoping for!

attitude
Day 7 Juneathon, attitude is a little thing that makes a BIG difference. Attitude can help change your day around, anytime you’re feeling low. Whisper Smile, smile, smile, It’ll instantly put a smile back on your face and brighten up your day. For this day will be another successful and eventful day. After yesterdays amazing performance, i thought I wanted to do speed work but ended up keeping it steady, as I'd promised to do a back session with one the trainer's at work. Glad I did, as it was hardcore.
Miles = 7 plus 2 later
feeling = great

go forth and enjoy the day for it will not come again
Every day is an opportunity we need to learn to embrace. Every day has something new to offer for that reason alone we must go forth and enjoy the day for it will not come again. With that thought in my head, and a deep desire to accomplish some dreams, to push myself to the extreme and come out victorious. Knowing I have the determination and perseverance necessary to train hard. Action has been taken. I know I will endure pain and suffering, maybe boredom along the way. But in my path I hope to discover another part of myself and gain personal satisfaction in the success, I will achievement. I aim to train and work hard. I will earn success the old fashioned way through blood, sweat and tears.
I aim to try and blog my journey, to keep a record of my progression and to keep track. I do not claim to be the best writer but all I can do is try J
‘Difference between a successful person and others is not lack of strength, nor a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.’ By the end of the month (June 2011) I aim to be running 30miles.Miles Ran= 10

short 1
Today I should have done a really long run, but didn’t! I’m listening to my body and I knew it would have been a crapy effort. So did a bit and spent most the day doing nothing. Something I haven’t done for ages. I feel lazy but really good I think I needed a rest.
Day 5 of Juneathon and did 2miles J

The shortest run I’ve done in a long time. Had some therapy which was crazy amazing and weird all in one. Knowing I needed to get some miles done I thought I’d run afterwards. Put on my comfy feel good red new balance and hit the road made it up the road just about. My body felt like it had done a marathon it was such a struggle got to the main road and headed straight back for home totalling a whole 1mile and 200meters LAs soon I got in headed for the fridge and ate all I could find and fell asleep on the couch trying to watch England v Switzerland.

all in a days work
It’s been a really long day, started with a run, met up with some guys around where I live and we did 5miles and gossiped and ran and gossiped some more. Nice day compared to the down pour of the other day. Interval runs using lamp post's to sprints to keep us going and not talking as much, getting the heart rate pumping hard before work, lovely.
Second run, just happened, due a cancellation of a meeting I had. with a few hours to spare i decided to jump on the treadmill and get some miles done. So part 2, on a treadmill and completed 5miles as boredom hit, I completed the 4miles I was aiming to do on the treadmill on the spin bikes.
Third run, yes another one only because I now had 2 hours to do nothing and decided to a few more miles and completed 6miles, again on the treadmill. All in all not a bad running day J
